I started in high volume Fortune 100 call centers, where I learned workflow design, customer experience, and large team operations. Those early years shaped my understanding of performance metrics, staffing models, and the importance of clear and consistent processes.
I later transitioned into public safety, beginning as a 911 dispatcher and rising through the ranks to become the first African American female Assistant Fire Chief for the City of Las Vegas. In that role, I oversee complex operations, guided organizational change, and supported the people who serve on the front lines every day. These experiences taught me that real transformation happens when people understand their value and are given the support to grow.
-
My leadership style is rooted in connection. I use real stories, real experiences, and real‑world impacts to help people understand the importance of the work they do. Whether someone is brand new or a seasoned leader, I meet them where they are and help them see how their role contributes to the bigger picture.
-
I created OAS to fill a gap. Many companies and public safety agencies need real‑world, actionable support. My mission is simple: support organizations as they strengthen their operations and turn potential into performance.
-
I’ve served in national leadership roles with the International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) and the Association of Public‑Safety Communications Officials (APCO). I’ve contributed to industry‑wide conversations on staffing, culture, and operational excellence, and my work has been featured by Las Vegas Weekly, the Las Vegas Review‑Journal, KSNV News 3, and the City of Las Vegas. I continue to mentor emerging leaders and support the people who keep communities safe.
